Turning my love of painting, mosaics, and babies into creations for kids!

I've always been an artist, but as a busy mom of three (plus two fur babies!) it is hard to find time to do the time-intensive oil painting that I was trained to do. One Saturday, at the weekend art project at the wonderful Wave Hill in the Bronx, my son and I were introduced to tissue paper art. It was such a gratifying and visually beautiful art form, that I adapted it for my home studio.

All of my art is kid-tested and approved. And while I LOVE the beautiful limited palette/greyscale nursery art that is in fashion, I've found that my kids love color as much as I do. So I celebrate color in my art and hope your kids enjoy it too.

I love that this new (to me) art form was born out of a wonderful weekend with my son, who is the Baby Seal in Baby Seal Studio. As he moves out of toddler-hood, he loves to pretend to be a baby seal to my mommy seal. Little does he know that he will always be my baby, seal or not!
